This will be very intentionally a private community not connected to any social media, closed to the open internet.
Many people limit or even completely avoid social media because it doesn’t bring happiness. We want to respect and support those choices and provide an online community with a more traditional business model. We won’t sell your information, we won’t have advertisers, and we won’t track what you do or care if you spend hours here every day because you are paying us. The best of the internet – talking to supportive people you’d never have met otherwise – without the worst.
We also want to create a space in which both parents and children can feel free to post pictures and describe personal situations. Privacy is at a premium these days, and we want to provide a place where you can ask your questions without worrying about trolls and share pictures without worrying about where they will end up in the future. In order to create a community respectful of others’ privacy, we also ask that you consider what is shared inside the community as confidential.
